Er... Let's see what I can scrounge up from the show. Marshall, called Moosh by close friends and family, lives in one of the weirdest nuclear arrangements possible. His father is a normal, caring yet somewhat distant patriarch. His older sister is the usual; obnoxious, bitchy, and there for him when he needs her to be. Its his mother... His mother, you see, has Dissociative Identity Disorder. That means she is either: - Tara, his real mother, the core personality. A caring but empty woman
- Alice, a 50's mom straight out of black and white tv shows.
- Buck, a sexist, gun toting man who doesn't like or approve of Marshall
- T, a 15-year-old girl who does drugs and is far too spontaneous for her own good.
Marshall is also gay. He's out and accepted, so there's none of that rediculous angsty drama. The issue however came up when his mother, or should I say T, made out with one of his almost-boyfriends, causing the not-quite-relationship to fall apart. He's since forgiven his mom though, since it was all out of a desire to protect him. But the strains of such a life have started to wear on Marshall. He has fallen into a bit of reasonable depression, and is now on medication for Xanax, which he abuses to a fault, preferring to feel nothing than crazy. But in that family, how could you escape it?
