Gabriel Roosevelt... I'm going to try my best to extrapolate him out of what me and Rachel came up with for him, into a full-fledged, RP-able character.
To start! Gabriel Roosevelt is a genius, by every standard, though at a first glace you might not believe it. He dresses with a slight edge, as if he'd do better being involved with Skaters or Scene kids as opposed to the Smart asses of the school. But looks can be deceiving, and by the end of his Junior Year, he'd already received an acceptance letter with nearly full scholarship into the Biology Department of Yale University. He doesn't let his intelligence control his life. For Gabe, being smart is effortless. He never studies, does homework sparingly, speaks like a regular teenager, and yet he scored 2400 on his SAT's, 36 on his ACT's and has had a 4.0 GPA since Freshman Year, when he was already taking two AP classes.
But like I said, he's far from a show off. Just incredibly smart. And rather silly, sometimes. Brains tend to breed eccentricities.
Now onto stuff I feel the need to make up for him.
Well. He lives with his Mother and his Step-Father, never having met and never having cared to meet his real father. Along with them lives his Step-Brother, who is a year younger, and his half-sister, who is six years old.
All of his life, he's lived next-door to the Anthony house, making friends with Jamie at a very young age, and has been friends with him for over fourteen years, even though they've both grown in many ways mentally and physically since their friendship was founded.
And just cause I'm a bitch for reusing dramatic plot lines we've used, Imma make Gabriel a little bit in love with Jamie. Not in the same sense Peter from the old site was, though. Gabriel isn't gay. He considers himself "Sexually Indiscriminating", his fancy way of saying Bisexual, and Jamie, his family, and everyone at school knows it.
He even went so far as to tell Jamie once about his feelings, but never really pursued anything after his confession, and soon faked getting over the infatuation. Although now, he has had a girlfriend for nearly a year, whom he does love with nearly the same intensity as he does Jamie, causing some awkward confusion for him when he hangs out with both of them at the same time.
He is the opposite of his best friend. Perpetually cheery to Jamie's near-perpetual turmoil. Incurable Genius to Jamie's Incurable ineptitude in school. That being said, they're perfect at balancing each other out. Jamie is the only one who's able to shake Gabe back into reality when he needs to be, and Gabe is the only one who would take the time to help Jamie scholastically, not that Jamie would ever allow anyone but his best friend to tutor him.
And I think that's a good start for this guy.
