Ronnie sat in the back of the cafe, reading a book and sipping on her coffee; black with one sugar. She put her hair back, and she was dressed in her usual - band t-shirt and bermuda shorts.
She took a bite out of her tofu burger that she'd gotten earlier every now and again, but she wasnt very hungry, and she was very into her book.

Julian stepped out of the line for the cafe with his bag of food and his large coffee... And spotted Ronnie sitting in the back. She was pretty... Really pretty. He wanted to go talk to her.
But alas, that's not how Julian's brain worked. As he stood there, debating, his eyes closed. When they opened, Julian wasn't home anymore.
Marco walked over to the seat across from Ronnie.
"This seat taken?"

Ronnie looked up, only for a second, and then did a double take. Cute. Not really her type, but, hey, what was her type anyway? Her luck was at a downfall lately - what with two guys now hitting on her within 24 hours. What the hell? She thought. Let'm have fun with their lives.
She flipped the page, and shrugged. "Go right ahead."

"You're reading. You're too pretty to read." Marco began his little flirt quest. He hadn't had airtime in a while, he was gonna take advantage of it.

"Haven't heard that line before." Ronnie remarked, not looking up. "I didn't know there was a maximum of prettiness to keep one from reading."

"Yeah, girl. Brains and body don't mix. Turns down the heat." Marco laughed, taking a sip from his coffee.
"Ech... I hate Hazelnut. Anyways, why don't you drop the book and we can go somewhere quiet?"

"I'm pretty content here actually. I'm fond of finding quiet in the loudest of places." Ronnie said, looking up at him. He acted like most of the guys she'd gone out with before. Assholes that never treated her right. Well, she thought, I guess he is my type after all.

"You're not making a speck of sense, girl." Marco replied with a grimace.
"There's no quiet in loud places. You're a weird one."

"Not weird." She said, chuckling. "Just intelligent. Probably not like the girls you go after."

"I usually don't have to go after. They come to me." Marco bragged, without the slightest modesty.
"You seem to be a challenge, though."

"That's because I know guys like you. Think you're tough shit, and that everyone will follow you. I do the opposite, however. You dont scare me, nor intimidate me, and I'm not attracted to that kind of guy." Ronnie shrugged, looking back to her book.

"Hell, I don't want to scare, I just want to get laid." Marco countered, as if it were obvious.

"As all guys with hormones do." She added.

"So what do you say, you look like you could use a roll, and I'm all for offering." Marco put his feet up on the table and leaned back in his chair. In his head, he was set.

Ronnie laughed, full force, her blue eyes piercing. "Like I'd sleep with you. I'm not that easy, kid, if you couldn't tell that by the book. I dont even know your name."
