Lilah sat in the back corner on a couch, laid out with her coffee next to her on a table. She had her hair over her face, and her hood was up, covering her eyes.
Her face was particularly bad today. Her cheek was swollen with a cut, she couldnt see out of her right eye because it was so bad, and her bottom lip was split.
Lilah went home, but turned around when she heard them from outside. That was not the place to be at that moment. For the next couple days, she just needed to hide away from it all until she could fix herself up to be pretty and perfect looking again. At least from everyone elses perspective.

Interestingly enough, Jamie sat on the couch opposite of Lilah, his hood up covering his eyes, coffee in hand.
His body trembled as his hand twitched towards his pocket - the pocket that held his addiction. He wanted it. He wanted it bad.
But Jamie wasn't going to give up the fight so easily. For the sake of his stash, for the sake of his pocket, and for the sake of the chick he was falling for, he had to at least try. If he could get through one day, maybe things could change.

Lilah reached for her coffee, but since she wasnt looking, she knocked it right over.
"Fuck!" She growled, falling back on the couch in a huff until she got up and started to clean the mess up.

Jamie lifted his hood just enough to see coffee spilling across the floor towards his sneakers. He looked down at this hands, and upon seeing his own cup in tact determined it must've been someone else who spilled coffee.
He grabbed a bunch of napkins off the table next to him and started wiping the mess up. "This is why you shouldn't drink hot liquids with your hood up."

Lilah looked at him through her hair, and then looked back down at the spill.
"Sorry. You dont have to help. It's my mess. My fault."

"It's fine." Jamie shrugged and threw the used up napkins in the trash can.
"It's not like I haven't spilled anything when I've been messed up."

"I'm not messed up." Lilah defended, continuing to wipe the floor.

"Then why do you have your hood up?" Jamie sat back on the couch he had previously occupied.

Lilah sighed. "Because I'm ugly." Same answer as usual.

"There's no such thing as ugly." Jamie countered, picking up his cup off the table with a shaking hand.
"Ugly is what you make it."

"I am. That's why i wear a hood. I dont want to make anyone see this face." She sighed, sitting back on the couch.

Jamie took his own hood off, revealing his sickly complexion and burnt out eyes.
"There's still no such thing as ugly. What if someone wants to see your face?"

"No one wants to see my face." She bit at him, laying down and facing away from him.

"I don't like people to see me for what I really am. Right now, there's one person that knows."
He pulled a little baggy filled with white powder out of his pocket and threw it on the table towards her.
"And now, there are two people that know. I hide so the people I care about won't see. Show me your face."

"No. No one else has seen my face. Why would i show you?" Lilah asked, her voice muffled by the couch.
